Cedars :: Shared Description

The foliage is in bunches of short needles, similar to larch. There is a useful mnemonic to help distinguish between the cedars from the ends of their shoots.

A
Blue Atlas Cedar (Cedrus atlantica 'Glauca'). The ends of the shoots Ascend.
D
Deodar Cedar (Cedrus deodara). The ends of the shoots Droop.
L
Cedar of Lebanon (Cedrus libani). The ends of the shoots are Level.

These Shared Descriptions are common to multiple images. For example, you can create a generic description for an object shown in a photo, and reuse the description on all photos of the object. All descriptions are public and shared between contributors, i.e. you can reuse a description created by others, just as they can use yours.
