A total of 108,878 Anglia E494As were manufactured by the Ford Motor Company between 1949 and 1953. They were equipped with a 933cc, four-cylinder engine capable of a top speed of 59 miles per hour. The Anglia E494A retailed new for 309 including purchase tax in 1949 (ranking it as the cheapest car available on the British market at that time); adjusted for inflation, this was equivalent to 11,166 at 2020 prices.
