The 'Long Hole', Bangor
A view towards the 'Long Hole' in Bangor from the Eisenhower Pier. A light sea mist was just blowing in as the picture was taken, almost totally obscuring the coastline and the houses on the Seacliff Road behind - this cleared very quickly in strong sunshine.
The Long Hole

Also known as the 'Big Hole', this small harbour in Bangor, now silted up and disused, was created when stone was quarried out in the 19th Century.
