In the background a southbound freight train (4R53) has set off from Milford West Sidings and is crossing the junction onto the East Coast Mainline to head to Immingham, headed by class 66 locomotive number 66186. A northbound LNER service (1S17) from London Kings Cross to Edinburgh Waverley is waiting for the freight train to complete its move before it can continue towards York. The LNER Azuma consists of class 801 number 801204.
