HY3825 : Animal Trap

taken 2 months ago, near to Redland, Orkney Islands, Great Britain

Animal Trap
Animal Trap
Spring trap used to kill stoats, a non-native species to Orkney. They were first reported on the island in 2010 and it is feared they will devastate the local ground nesting bird populations. The Orkney Native Wildlife Project has set up thousands of these traps. See LinkExternal link.
