Cushnahan Quay, Belfast
Cushnahan Quay, Belfast
Old wooden supports at Cushnahan Quay in Belfast, a relic of the former shipbuilding yards that once stood here. This is taken from the bank of the Victoria Channel at low water, looking towards Belfast city centre. The little blue artwork is by @Boxty_rock LinkExternal link .
The Cushnahan Quay, Belfast

Not a proper quay in that it has no face capable of handling ships. Previously known as the Queen’s Island Wharf (western side). Its southern end faces the Abercorn Basin. Due for (eventual) re-development as part of the Titanic Quarter.
