Through wheatfields to Little Wilbraham
Through wheatfields to Little Wilbraham
A notice at the beginning of this pleasant path from Fulbourn to Little Wilbraham welcomes walkers seeking fresh air and exercise during the coronavirus pandemic to Hawk Mill Farm Land. After a rainy May, the first ten days of June have been warm and sunny: wheat and barley fields hereabouts are looking set for a good crop. Fulbourn and the Wilbrahams are at the southernmost end of the Cambridgeshire Fens and the fields here are not as snooker-table flat as those in the levels not far north.
