Looking east in St Mary's Church
Looking east in St Mary's Church
The church was built mainly between the 14th and 15th centuries, beginning with the chancel arch and the south arcade with its tall octagonal piers. The east window with its Perpendicular tracery is in the same style as in most of the church but dates from a restoration of 1874 and was glazed by Ernest Richard Suffling (misspelt as Soffling in the listing citation) in 1901 - see TL3368 : The Last Supper.
