Hooe Lake
Hooe Lake
This is the south-western corner of Hooe Lake close to high tide - when the tide is out this scene is a sea of mud. Barton Road runs along the right hand side. The telecommunications masts on the hill are at Staddon Fort.

Hooe Lake, is not a lake, it is an inlet that joins the River Plym near the suburb of Hooe. It is part of the Ria that forms Plymouth Sound.
