Stack, Seaford Head
Stack, Seaford Head
A chalk stack below the cliffs of Seaford Head. This is a rapidly developing feature - see LinkExternal link for a series of photos showing how it developed from a cliff buttress.

The cliff beyond shows clearly the effect of a substantial rockfall which took place in March 2021.

Note the line of Kittiwakes perched on the remains of the groyne in the foreground.
