The new Pooley Bridge
The new Pooley Bridge
Seen from the Dunmallard construction site which has now been reopened as the main car park for the village. The bridge spans the River Eamont.
River Eamont

The River Eamont is formed by the outflow from Ullswater in the Lake District, later augmented by Dacre Beck from the west and the River Lowther which carries the water from Haweswater north to the Eamont at Penrith. It reaches the River Eden 3 miles east of Penrith (LinkExternal link Wikipedia).
