Midsummer Hill
Midsummer Hill
Midsummer Hill is the third southernmost hill in the Malvern Hills range and its summit reaches up to 932 feet (284 m). You can get good views from and near the top of the hill, and there is a shelter on the summit. The hill is the site of an Iron Age hill fort that was set up around 390 BC and was destroyed in 48 AD.
Compare this to an earlier photo I took from the same view; SO7536 : Midsummer Hill. That was taken before I climbed the hill and this photo was taken after I climbed the hill.
