TL3155 : The Old School

taken 1 year ago, near to Longstowe, Cambridgeshire, Great Britain

The Old School
The Old School
Now a private residence, the building was opened in 1866, enlarged in 1894 and closed in 1962. Pevsner confidently ascribes the design, in a 13th-century Gothic style, to Richard Reynolds Rowe.

The building is bisected by the north-south grid line, with part lying in the square to the west. For the south aspect, facing the road, see Keith Edkins' TL3055 : The Old School, Longstowe.
