The furrows show up
The furrows show up
All around here the traces of old medieval ridge and furrow patterns can be seen in the fields, with differences in plant growth often evident as seen here. In fields nearby it is buttercups growing along the drier soil of the ridges which show up the most, but for some reason this bit is different, damper perhaps. The buttercups don't like it at all and instead it is marshy grass or sedge or something which shows up in the furrows.
