Former hotel on Grey Street
Former hotel on Grey Street
The buildings on the left here, now shops, used to be The Turk's Head Hotel. This was one of Newcastle's most famous hotels, and stood opposite the Theatre Royal on Grey Street. Unfortunately, it closed in the late 1980's, and was converted into shops.
