Bee on the former railway embankment, A69, Haltwhistle
Bee on the former railway embankment, A69, Haltwhistle
This is the former branch line to Alston, bisected by the A69 Haltwhistle by-pass in 1996. A bee is the symbol of Manchester, but I am not sure why this one has been constructed. It was not here in 2012 NY7163 : Remains of an embankment on the (former) Haltwhistle to Alston branch line.
