TA4214 : Truck on the Beach

Truck on the Beach
Truck on the Beach
Since the surfaced road was washed away in a storm, regular vehicle access to the lighthouse and other buildings at the end of Spurn Head is no longer possible. Only specialised 4WD vehicles can cross the soft sand bar that now is all that connects the Head to the mainland.
The truck here carries parties of visitors out to the far end of Spurn Head. It was making quite slow progress through the soft sand.
