Pond outlet
Pond outlet

This is the outlet for the ponds in the area known as Tibshelf Ponds. There are two ponds; the northerly pond drains into the southerly, which in turn drains here. The water runs through a culvert into an unnamed stream that eventually drains into Morton Brook.

To see the outflow from this culvert, click here SK4459 : Outflow from Tibshelf Ponds.

For photographs of the northern pond, click here SK4460 : Tibshelf Ponds or here SK4460 : Tibshelf Ponds.
For photographs of the southern pond, click here SK4460 : Tibshelf Ponds or here SK4459 : Tibshelf Ponds.

To the right of the viewpoint is a short SK4459 : Permissive footpath that connects Tibshelf Ponds with the Silverhill Trail.
