New look for Skipper Street
New look for Skipper Street
Skipper Street used to be a bit challenging for pedestrians with its uneven narrow footpath and traffic squeezing past parked cars. The original width, though thankfully not the original uneven surface, can be seen along the section between the muralled wall and the new drainage channel beside the yellow cones. Then some visionary recently decided to take half the road width away from the traffic and create a new wider and safer pedestrian path and also do away with parking here. Common sense rules at last.
