Ryeland sheep statue in Leominster
Ryeland sheep statue in Leominster
This statue of a Ryeland sheep staring longingly at an apple tree was unveiled in September 2013. It acknowledges the importance of this breed to the local economy due to the high quality wool this breed produced. The statue was created by local metalsmiths Claudia Petley and Paul Shepherd.
