SP0686 : Silent sentinels from Birmingham's past

Silent sentinels from Birmingham's past
Silent sentinels from Birmingham's past
Taken from the south-western end of Inge Street where it joins Essex Street, this photo shows the supposed former bank building, the subject of 'Bankers are gone from Bristol Street' and its neighbour, built at the same time I assume. Both buildings show tiled decoration on their facades - slightly closer views in the following photos. I will add more information when I can find it. This building, like its neighbour, makes a comfortable home for a flock of pigeons. Time taken 11.38 pm BST (British Summer Time).
