This large building comprises the original boiler house (right), pumping house (centre, tallest section) and the extension at left that housed the diesel pumps that supplemented the original steam engines. None of these now house operational plant but some of the old steam engines are being restored.

The building is now listed grade 1 (list entry number 1064241).
