The Galway hooker "Cliona na Toinne" moored alongside Kinvara Quay. Galway hookers are a traditional design of boat originally used for fishing in Galway Bay.

The Quay was built around 1800 and is included in the National Inventory of Architectural Heritage - see LinkExternal link.
