University College Hospital nurses' home
Former nurses' home for University College Hospital, now used mainly for offices and training but with some doctors' accommodation. This impressive art deco building was built in 1933-38 and was part of a grand design for the whole hospital by the firm of architects T J Cullen & Co in 1932, but ended up being the only part of the original plan actually constructed, further development not being carried out until after the Second World War, to a different design by the same architects. Included in the National Inventory of Architectural Heritage - see LinkExternal link.
