Stone slab field boundary at Wycoller
Stone slab field boundary at Wycoller
Some of the field boundaries around Wycoller are formed from great flat slabs of rough gritstone. This section looks rather like a row of collapsing dominoes. There are so many gaps and fallen stones that it cannot now function as a wall to keep stock inside.
