Collection of baths beside farm track near Redpoint Farm
It's common in the farmlands of the UK to come across individual old baths pressed into service as drinking troughs for livestock but these serve a slightly different purpose. There are no plugs so they will not hold water but though they were empty at the time of photographing, residues of animal feed lie in them. The majority if not all of the baths are of pressed steel - certainly no cast iron Victorian gems.
The mountains beyond the feeding troughs are those of the Applecross peninsula.
