Drill Hall
The Drill Hall on Broadgate, seen from St.Rumbold Street multi-storey car park during construction of the new Premier Inn. This view will be lost shortly.
A familiar landmark on Broadgate, the Drill Hall opened in 1890 paid for by Lincoln industrialist Joseph Ruston. After its use as a drill hall, it has been a venue for wrestling, bingo and live bands ..... including the Rolling Stones on New Year's Eve 1962. It is now a popular venue for all sorts of performing arts LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link )
