Crowstone
Crowstone
Looking across Bonnyton Moor from the Crowstone with Newton Mearns and Glasgow in the distance. The Crowstone or Crawstane is a natural erratic boulder. Local legend has it that the Crawstane was one of those carried in a witch's apron until the string broke. Nearby is the small disused Crowstone quarry.
