S Sansum and Bros. Ltd

During WW1 the Eagle Works of S Sansum and Bros. Ltd supplied tubes to the auto and aircraft industries. Of the 165 employees 130 were women.

Immediately post-war the firm branched out into radiator tubes. There are no records of what happened to the firm in the post-war period.

The Eagle Works is a locally listed building and is currently used as an art gallery.
